Spinach & cottage cheese bites recipe
When we wake, our blood glucose is at its lowest, while cortisol and adrenaline are at their highest, which in turn releases insulin, encouraging the body to store fat. Combining protein, fibre and healthy fats will set you up for the day and help dodge the insulin surge.
These light bites are a great choice for when you’re on the go but want to ensure you ensure you’re getting all three first thing. High in protein to keep you full, but low in carbs to support blood sugar balance, they’re nutrient-dense without being high in calories. An easy, satisfying and delicious way to start your day.
